What's the difference between a retainer and an evertain retainer?
Both traditional retainers and evertain retainers keep your teeth straight after your orthodontic treatment. But only an evertain retainer and its replacement program make it no big deal when, NOT IF, your retainer is lost or broken - just pop in your back up retainer and arrange for a replacement to be sent to your doctor. Traditional retainers are purchased each time you need one.

What type of retainer does evertain provide?
An evertain retainer is similar to a "contact lens" for the teeth. We use the most advanced plastic polymers available which are very strong and almost invisible on your teeth. No wires and no interference with your speech.

What happens if I lose or break my evertain retainer?
The first thing you do is, relax! Just locate the backup set sent with your original retainer. Wear your backup set as you would your original retainer and call or e-mail evertain to start the replacement process. You smile more and worry less and evertain sends your doctor the replacement set
.
What happens if I lose my original and backup sets of evertain retainers?
Research shows that your teeth will have a tendancy to shift, called relapse, if you don't wear ANY type of retainer as your doctor prescribes. Therefore, your backup set should be kept in a place where it can't be lost or broken. If both sets are lost or broken, you should contact your doctor for a quick check of your teeth before evertain can send you your replacements.

How much does the program cost?
The evertain retainer replacement program is $495. That includes not one, but two complete sets of retainers. One is your primary set and one is your backup set. By purchasing an evertain retainer, you are covered for 3 years. You will have the option to renew your replacement program after 3 years for a fraction of the initial cost. Should you need a retainer replaced, you will only be charged a small shipping and handling fee.

Is evertain more expensive than a traditional retainer?
Yes. However, you receive two sets of retainers right away. The average cost of one set of retainers is about $250. Evertain pays for itself on the first replacement.

Where is this program available?
Currently, we offer our program in all 50 US States. If you need help finding a doctor in your area that offers evertain, please contact us at 1-888-evertain. We will be glad to assist you. We suggest printing our Doctor Info Sheet and taking it with you on your next appointment in case your doctor is not familiar with the evertain retainer program.
