First things first!
Place the brochures you received with your starter kit in your reception area and offer one to every patient - new ones as well as those who are about to finish therapy. Brochures are always free and easy to get by e-mailing morebrochures@evertain.com or calling 1-888-EVERTAIN.

The simplest way to explain evertain to patients
Simply put, evertain is a retainer replacement program where patients will always have access to a functional retainer for as long as they stay in the program. Tell them they start with two sets of initial retainers and can have unlimited replacement, for any reason, for an initial period of three years. After that, they can continue with the program or stop - their choice.

The best time to start talking to patients about evertain
The short answer is anytime you talk about how important retainers are. Especially at the beginning of treatment and again when patients are about 30 days away from finishing therapy.

Billing for evertain
There are a number of ways in which billing can be handled. One option involves including the evertain retail fee in your overall fee for treatment. Another option involves the patient being billed directly by evertain. We highly recommend that you call or email evertain to discuss the various billing options available.

Handling patients who are already in braces and have paid for retainers as a portion of their overall fee
Evertain is still an excellent option for these patients. There are a variety of billing strategies that can be employed. Please call 1-888-EVERTAIN to discuss or email info@evertain.com.

Impression materials
Use a VPS or PVS impression material. This material is more stable than alginate and will not distort in shipping. Alginate impressions will distort resulting in a poor fitting retainer. The product we recommend is Exacta Fresh PVS Monophase.
